Will 07 Ultra stock mufflers fit an 09 Ultra?

I have my old 07 Mufflers, and am considering sending them off to FullSac for 2inch cores.

Just trying to save me some fit testing at home.

Greg

Hmmm I don't really know but pull one off and try it. The 09 might have a little more indention in them for the axle nut. Call up a HD shop and ask them. I really ain't much help am I.

Call Fullsac. They should be able to tell you.I have a set of 09 Ultra Mufflers & a set of 07 StreetGlide mufflers & they look to be very similar.I would guess that they would fit.Regards,Tom

Just go on any exhaust mfg., like V&H, and see if the part number is the same for both years.

This is what Fullsac said, that the 09 clearence spot for the axel nut is larger due to the wider swingarm.

I will swap them out to see if they fit and report back.

Yea I read that somewhere that it was a little wider. I put Supertrapp SE mufflers on mine and they cleared but it is close. I think when you use a wider muffler that where you might have a problem.
