Question changing mufflers

I have an 05 ultra se. It has screamin eagle air filter, pc111 and V&H mufflers. I changed the mufflers to some others that a buddy had laying around. We don,t know what they are, but I like the sound better, more mellow. The bike seems to run fine with them. Will I have to remap or anything, I don,t know if I,m restricting air flow or anything. Like I say seems to run same as before. Thanks for any info, just don,t want to hurt the bike.

Nomad, if it runs the same, the new mufflers must have the same or similar flow characteristics as the V&H. I wouldn't touch a thing!

I'd change it even though it doesn't seem like you're hurting it. I suspect it would run better with a new map.

was it remapped when the SEs were put on? If it was, you are in the ball park, but it could stand a new map
