I have Rush mufflers with 1.75" baffles on my 07 Dyna and they are way louder than stock. You might get away without retuning if you don't do anything other than mufflers...you'll have to try it and see how the bike runs. I put my mufflers on before remapping and adding an air cleaner and the bike didn't run any worse than it did stock, but it didn't run very well stock either. After the air cleaner and canned Race Tuner map, the improvement in throttle response was very apparent.

I have the 2 1/4 baffles in my Rush pipes (08 FLSTC). Very loud, but a very good quality sound. Deep rumble and crisp revs. But might be too loud for some tastes.

I would definitely get the smallest baffle available, if you plan to run without changing your fuel calibrations.

i have modified rush slipons from fuelmotousa and they are almost as quiet as stock when idleing except a deeper tone on my bike . they are only significantly louder than stock when whacking on the throttle imo.

Yep!, running them on my "07 Road Glide. Using 1.75 " baffle in left side,
2.25" in right side because of the unbalanced nature of stock FL pipes. Would probably use 2.25's a Dyna or Softail. These are extremely well made mufflers with easy to change baffles. They are loud but not anoying going down the road. Just right sound as far as I'm concerned.

I put a set (2" baffles) on a buddy's 2007 Road Glide last fall. I advised him to add an SE intake and a power commander but he followed the dealer's advice and just did the pipes. 2007's have oxygen sensors so maybe that's why they work okay with the new muffler? He likes em they seem to run fine without remapping. They definitely had more bark than stock.

Funny you bring this up -- researching with a stealer today -- he brought up rush too -- indeed said you can put on a version without doing a SERT or Stage 1 -- in a few months it will be interesting to hear how the pistons are doing out there -- let us know -- BTSOOM

I have a pair of Rush slip-ons for sale for a friend of mine. He bought them for his Heratige but changed his mind after he got them.

They look like a nice set of mufflers, well built, and they have a very good following online.

How are they modified? Do they have different baffles?

I've got Rush slipons w/2" baffles on my Street Bob. Nice sound but I wish I could quiet them down some.

If you go with these I would not go larger than the 2" baffle or it will cost you torque in the lower rpm. There is a dyno sheet in the dyno section that will prove this.

Also on my Ultra I had the right side yellow from getting lean, even though all I did was change the mufflers. No air cleaner or tuner.

I've installed lots of the rush mufflers without a tuner or air cleaner kit and the A/F ratio stayed the same as stock(14.7:1) on 07&08 bikes.
I use the 1 3/4"
