Samson Silver Bullet - FLHR

Does anybody have experience with Samson Silver Bullet Fishtails on a bagger?? I have an '02 FLCRCI and want Fishtails, but the SE's are too long. I don't care for the look of them. I see Samson Silver Bullet mufflers come in a dishtail that I really like, but am wondering about the sound and the performance. I intend to install the SE intake and Recal the ECM to get a little more flow, but wonder will the Samsons work well with that setup?? thanks

My Brother In Law has them on his FLHRCi.... In my trials on the dyno with it, I found out that they flow a little bit too much.... Great sound though, if you are in a neighborhood that has "Concerned Citizens".... Not too loud, good bark when you roll the wick... Nice fit and finish.. Not my first choice though.... But he seems happy with them... 95", 203 Cams, SE Heads, PC II, Silver Bullets (Mitre Cut).

BTW, What intake are you gonna install???? You have a Delphi bike.. wasn't aware of an intake manifold for them yet.. something new?

FLHRCI

Thanks for the info...I have a bone stock 2002 with EFI. So I was planning on the Stage 1 for EFI which I believe is just a higher flow
airfilter but would still require the recal.

flhrclass, I have had them on my FLHRCI for 3 years. I did the stage I to enrichen the fuel circuit when I put them on. I like them. They sound good when you are riding along or roll the throttle. I don't care for the idle sound too much. At idle, I think that they sound like a VW beetle on steroids.

Thanks for the info .... I was about to order them but still not sure.
Sounds like you took them off. What did you go to afterward?

No, I still have them. I like the look. Try Jireh Cycles. I think about 265 a set.
