883/1200 conversion

I bought a 98 883 that the owner had converted to 1200 ,I had a feeling that I should do a compression check to see if it was excessive in the manual I found a minimum pressure of 120 lbs but no max. any how the compression was 175 and 180 lbs should I do a tear down and install wiseco pistons or is it ok to just run on premium fuel I dont know if any one has done a compression check after a conversion if so what were your compression figures these seem excessive to me thanks in advance RSP

If you are having no problems, running and starting fine, no pinging I wouldn't worry about it ?? How does it run ??

Make sure that you check compression with the throttle wide open. No attack on your mechanical abilities, just a note.
