Sucking air

I have a '96 heritage, with a few minor mods.The bike runs fine, but on my last road trip I started hearing air being sucked in from what I thought was the A/C. I checked my carb seal, exhaust seal, carb air lines, and everything looks fine. I am starting to wonder if air is getting sucked in through my cylinders somewhere, or is this air sound normal with a new clean air filter?? Your commnets and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Hard to diagnose something like this without being able to hear the bike. High flow ac definetly causes you to hear the engine sucking some air, but don't feel right promising you that everything is okay.
