Exclamation Rear wheel wooble

Hi Guys

My H-D flht is 1985 electra glide classic ~ 27yrs. old.

And I got the HARLEY WOOBLE where the rear wheel starts woobling as i'm into a turn.

For a numbler of years I thought is was just me and I had to get better at my turning. Numb skull brain of mine. Finally after all these years it was brought to my attention that ~ IT ISN'T ME, ITS THE DARN BIKE.

Questions Guys. I looked on Ebay for the REAR STABLILZER FOR MY YEAR BIKE ~ " NO DICE "

Can you guys help me out and tell me if I can STABLIZE the rear wheel with a STABLIZER for my yr. bike 1985.

Or another yr. bike that would do the job of correcting my situation?

Have you done, or check Vehicle Alignment? The procedure is in your
factory service manual. I have the info for a FLT, which I believe is the same as
the FLHT

Smile Rubber bushings are "shot"

Hey FXRS84

The aligment is good its those rotten out of shape rubber bushing within the swingarm.
I'm replacing the those ol' 27yr. bearing in my swingarm with:SPHERICAL BEARING.
That's what the new bikes have in their swingarms.
Lets not forget my FHLT IS 27YRS. OLD.

THANKS 4 YOUR INPUT.

Schooner, I know what yer sayin', if you realize the 84, is the year of my bike.
The FLT was using clevebloks, not bearings. Again, is the FLHT different.. Your bike,
check it out. You can get online parts manuals., dont have the site info..
but it was just mentioned in the FXR forum..
