98' Road Glide ECM died...

Hello
A friend of mine owns a 98' Road Glide Annyversary Edition whose ECM died and is looking for a replacement. The bike has been in a HD dealer for over two months. He is being told that they (the dealer) is having a hard time locating a replacement ECM for his bike, which is the Electronic Fuel Injection model.

Does anyone know where this ECM can be obtained from? Any help will be greatly appreciate it. Thanks Luis

Part #32423-97 is factory installed ecm.
#32423-97a & 32423-97b is also listed, I believe the later 2 are on the Twin Cams and might not be calibrated for the Evo.

Autoworker, I take it you have been down route 4 before?

If your ecm is dead now might be a good time to try a thunder-max ecm with auto tune. they aren't cheap but work good makes your bike user friendly you can now tune it yourself.
Plus if you have a problem thunder-max is just an email away.
you can do the diagnostics with a laptop and tune it with one.
I put one on my old bike 1995 ultra classic I had to change out the throttle body etc. but for me well worth the price. I'm very happy with the thunder-max system.

Do you still have the ECM? If so, is it part # 32423-97? If so, How much will you sell it for?

Thanks,
Will
