still trying to ID my engine..help?

the heads have castings telling me they are "evo 97" heads.
the case has the same stamped number *(five point star)z3830*
no othet markings..Not a normal HD sn# from what i can find. Not an Ultima sn3. though the fram is an Ultima softail. ( 89-99 evo)
its an evolution engine w. adjustable pushrods. and possible aftermarket cam..mikuni 42mm carb.

Any ideas on what other ID markings, other places. Tell tail Casting form .machined areas that my help.

the cases have been polished...would this have erased any original markings so it had to have another SN# ID stamped into the case?

I do not have an MSO sheet...but its a legal bike ...good title..etc.

The comp in both are 150 +(-)2 psi.. to my understanding that about stock...but a perf cam can make that a decieving number.right.

Sound like a stock motor stuffed into S&S cases, with the emblems polished off.
