Rocker Box gasket

Is it easy to put on another gasket for the rocker box for a 2007 XL1200L Sporty? It is leaking, so I need to replace it. Not sure if its possible to do it myself or if I would need to take it in. Are there certain things I need to do to replace it?

Thanks!

Even though your Sportster is technically an Evo this belongs in the Sportster Tech section.

Good Luck

It is really quite simple, except for clearance issues with tanks and other jewelry. An allen wrench is all that you should need to remove the covers.Just make sure that when you start on the resealing that you tighten the cover screws equally and in small increments, don't tighten one side down tight while the opposite side is real loose. These gaskets have a way of moving around.
