Evo/Shovelhead Frame

Does anyone know if a 80'' evo will fit in a 66 dropseat shovel frame?

Not sure what frame that is, but if it is a factory Harley frame, the evo will not fit, the engine is too tall.

I have never tried either, but I have read on teh 1ntr4w3b, yo, that people have put them in with some cutting and welding to the frame, particularly the seat post area and maybe where the top tube joins the seat post. I believe the bottom (bolt holes) will match up, it's the top you have to work on.
