2 piece billet pushrod covers

Hi,

Has anyone ever had 2 piece billet pushrod covers instead of the stock 3 piece & tried to adjust their pushrods?

I purchased an aftermarket set & needed to adjust my pushrods. The only way I could do it was rip the rocker boxes off, pull the pushrod covers, put the rocker boxes back on with the pushrods exposed and adjust them. Then reassemble everything again.

You would have to be King Kong to try and compress the spring in the pushrod tube and try to adjust the rods at the same time. They give you very little exposure even when compressed. Thanks

Wow. That sounds just like the type of situation I don't like to do. Maybe there is a special tool that helps you compress the tubes so you can adjust the rods.
