Need manual or info for Screamin Eagle 32654-98 "race" module
Does anyone have info or instructions on the Screamin Eagle adjustable curve ignition module, part number 32654-98???
The specific info I am looking for is what the differences are in the four different advance curves, and/or what is recommended for a simple setup with SE slip-ons and an SE high flow air cleaner.
Anyone have this?
***EDIT***
After 2 days worth of googling and searching various forums, I found out that Dynatek makes the Screamin Eagle modules. For anyone else who may need this same info, here it is:

Just curious, have you ever had any issues with your module? I had to remove mine due to excessive pinging in any setting.
What are your switchs set on?
Thanks,
J

J, my bike runs great with this module. I know some say this is a worthless mod on a basically stock bike, but it definitely made a noticeable difference in how mine runs overall. I run premium unleaded gas (93 octane), so I went right to the most aggressive timing curve and the bike seems to love it. I haven't even tried any other curve since it doesn't ping or anything as it is.
All of my switches are set to OFF
Switch 1 - OFF = VOES Normal
Switch 2 & 3 - Both OFF = Curve 1
Switch 4 & 5 - Both OFF = 6000 rpm rev limit
Switch 6 - OFF = Dual Fire mode
I have the conversion pigtail and Screamin Eagle Single Fire coil, but don't think it can/will run any better that it is running with the stock dual fire coil.

rel3rd,
Thanks for the info, I think I'm going to take a 2nd look at the box and try it again.
I'm running the S&S heads with the 10-1 pistons and a 561 cam, I just figured the compression was too high. But the instructions that you found were much better than the instructions that SE included in the kit.
Thanks again for the info.
Justin

Just one more question, I see that you have it set for duel fire mode. Isn't your bike a single fire?
The reason I ask is I think I had mine set on single fire. I really want to leave work and check now. lol.

No, my bike is dual fire stock, but the module is capable of being used on either dual or single fire. I have the Screamin Eagle single fire coil setup and adapter harness...just decided to run it as dual fire at first, and like how it runs as-is. One weekend if I am bored, I might swap it over to single fire just to see if there's any noticeable difference, but I really don't think there will be with my particular setup.
Maybe a dumb question, but are you sure that you have the single fire/dual fire switch on the right one? Sometimes the problems are right under our nose's...
Good Luck with yours!

I had to look at my earlier posts, I was confused. I had mine set on dual fire.(I think) I'm telling you, trying to work and read these posts gets hard.
I have to pull my primary off this weekend to fix a leak, so I'll reinstall the box and double check the settings while I'm at it.
I'll let you know how it goes,
Justin
