Screaming Eagle Sportster Ignition Module

Can anybody tell me if a 1997 Screaming Eagle Sportser Ignition module will work well in a 1998 Superglide application? Thanks

Yep. The advance will be a little quicker, but the limiter will allow the motor to REV higher, I'm not sure, but it's probably around 6500 or more. The glide is the lightest big twin of its year so you should be good. I guess the rest depends on your motor. Also if your going to still use your VOES, you can adjust that by using a vacuum gauge and a flathead. Haven't done it personally, but it works!

Hey Thanks. I neglected to even think about the VOES. I may just be better off purchasing the right module for the bike? Somebody had a brand new sporty module that they would sell for $40.00, but I guess that really isn't the best way to go.

For 40.00 bucks, it's worth a shot. A little more timing, and higher limiter is a good thing, if you have exhaust and aircleaner. You'll have to run high octane gas for the timing.

And as I said before, you could just adjust your VOES.
