120" Ultima Issues?

A friend called the other day and was asking about his new 120" Ultima when hot losing power and a funny sound coming from the front cylinder.Had him check plugs,and oil pressure, both Okay.Was kind of hoping to hear from any of you that might have had experience with any difficiencies in your Ultima motors.One thing I asked him to check was vent lines,he claims there is only one.That in itself sounds suspicious.Grasping for straws! He lives 1 1/2 hrs away from me,was hoping to have some inside info before I head his way.

the one my buddy just did at his shop had only one breather also ,if i remenber corrctly off the front head only. he has also seen piston problems on others

valve adjustment set too tight? would hold the valves open and bleed off compression once the push rods get longer when hot.

I'm hoping to hear from those that may have had issues with their Ultima's, before I venture North.
