Does anyone know the part number for the ignition harness for a 1998 Road King carburetor and if it still is available. I am attempting to do a EFI to Carb conversion and it would be slick if I could find this harness or build it. Do dealers carry the Deutsch connectors?
I went to St. Paul Harley-Davidson and got the service manual for my 1998 Road King. I am stunned. I had another brand of manual it is not nearly as detailed on so many things. The one thing it does have is part numbers! Had I know that I would have saved myself and others so much time. Definitely worth every penny.
I am attempting to fabricate the ignition wiring harness and have a question. Is there a good substitute method for crimping the stamped formed pins to the wires for the expensive tools? The least expensive tool I can find is $150 or so. Seems a little pricey to fold over the tabs on the pins to me.
