Get a set of rods that can be taken out without messing withe the rocker box's. If your o-rings seals leak your going to wish you had.

The EV27 has the same base circle as a stock cam so the stock pushrods should work. If the pushrod tube o rings leak you can cut the stock pushrods with bolt cutters and then install the adjustable pushrods.

Thanks for the suggestions, as long as stock 1 piece will work I'd rather use them for lightness and honestly hate adjusting them.

You may want to measure the thickness on the cylinder head casting. 3.750" is stock.
Anything less than that, and your going to have to run a shorter, fixed length, or an adjustable.
S&S is the flavor we prefer.

Get the good stuff.

The best pushrods are made by Smith Bros. They make pushrods primarily for NASCAR and other racing teams, but they also make pushrods for Harley engines. Checkout their website, everything you want to know about pushrods.

www.pushrods.net

Part # AHD79SB-EVO-FI, they are $30.00/ea

Actually there's nothing tothe adjusting, just spin back wheel until oposite lifter is just starting to go up and set the opposite pushrods to manufacturers instructions on amount of turns and then move onto the next, simple.

SE heads are .060 shorter than stock. Plan on adjustables. Or custom length ones from Smith's.

Smith Bros makes adjustable pushrods and EZ install pushrods for EVOs. The EZ install rods are $30 each and are built very well.
