Looking for 9.5-1 flat tops
I have a 98 FLHRC-I approx 64,000 miles currently that I plan to tear down this winter to freshen up the top end, I have a Power commander, EV-13 cam, big sucker air cleaner and true duals. I would like recommendations for 9.5-1 flat top pistons and looking for recommendations on the cam.

Wiesco offers a 10:1 that can be pulled down to that, as the dome thickness has plenty of meat on it.
With that said, a Wood 6, could be a great choice, but they do run better at 10:1.
Bring a top quality valve job into the picture with those 2 suggestions, and you will KNOW that you did it right.

Keith Black makes a 9.5 to 1 pistons for EVO motors its not flat top it has a small dome we have used many of them very good choice for that 9.5 to 1 application also works well with your cam

from an earlier post of mine:
I was thinking in terms of a new bike--but economy, job concerns, and overall family expenses convinced me to keep the old one--and throw a bit more into her.
Had: andrews 27, mik 42, ignition, old screeming eagle slip ons (cycle shack), big sucker.
added: 10:1 pistons, "street valve job" head work. (I'm at 2500 ft, mainly ride mountains up to 6000 ft.)
what I got: Why didn't the make Evos like this from the factory???
I used to feel her get on the cam..now it feels like shes always on the cam. Pulls like a train..I used to start to run out of steam around 85-90 mph...now, I'm backing out of it at 90 with much more to go! A bit lumpy/bumpy at idle, but smooth power all across the band.
3 months later? My wrench says my "adjusted compression is 9.7:1"
no issues....rides great! before pistons and heads, Dyno'd at 70/75 "ish" (gettng old, can't remember) have not put her on a dyno now...but my "personal dyno" seat of pants says it's improved.

Thank you all, good suggestions, I am wanting more grunt without spending a boat load of $. Bike runs good with very little oil consumption 1 qt between oil changes (4000 miles) but has a little oil weeping back of rear cylinder base until good and warmed up, which is why I plan to get into it this winter. I also bought a set of S&S lifters for it on ebay that I plan to put in it when she is a part. What are you thoughts on the lifter life?
Do you see any real problems with 10.1 compression being to high i.e. I hear folks say the starter with be an issue with this compression? I ride the bike on some good long trips i.e. 3000-4000miles in a week and don't want to have issues on the road.

It is not the pistons that give you the comp, it is the relationship between your displacement+the combustion space and the combustion space. Yo have to CC the heads, and do the math for the sizr gasket and deck height. Bigger pistons change the relationship(makes for more displacement). Flat top pistons usually are considered flat at deck height(0 deck height+ the volume of the valve reliefs), unless the deck height is different or the valve reliefs are different, the piston remains the same(whatever the maker)

are you impling that all things being equal installing 10.1 pistons will not change the compression??
