S&S 113 Oil distribution problem

I purchased a Fat Pounder new with a 113 S&S engine. Recently I pulled the rocker covers and was shocked to see that "NO" signs of oil in the rocker boxes, arms, springs, rods etc. I contacted S&S and received the standard "It could be a number of things" answer. The push rods are clear, the HVHP oil pump is working and the oil filter is the correct micron mesh from S&S. Other than some minor rattling that sounded like lugging issues the engine performs. What could be preventing the oil distribution to the top end?

First thing I would do is check oil pressure with a manual gauge. If ok, I would run the engine with the lid off of the rocker box. You should see oil pretty quickly after startup.

If this engine has a warranty then it seems that they should be more interested in helping you. If this is not the case they should still help you so you don't do any more damage and show that they are a good company. Service after the sell is very important.
