I wouldn't go with the HD kit. I'm not a big fan of kits that use regular hose and hose clamps that fit over the brass fittings. Plus JAGG sells kits that are about $100 cheaper than the HD, and probably better. That and HD chrome sucks. If you want to do it, I would go with a higher end kit that used braided steel line with the ends attached through AN fittings. Motorcycle Innovations Bad Boy Super Cooler comes to mind, although you'll pay twice as much for it v. the Jagg. Another option is to buy the oil cooler kit, and buy your own braided lines and substitute them for the rubber hose in the kit. Good luck. The link has some good info.

Pretty good deal for under $200

Edit: It doesn't include the thermostat

I don't see the jag being much cheaper. The HD sells for around 260 on ebay with adapter. The jag is 174 w/o adapter, which is around 70-80 bucks. Not saying which is better; I'm buying one over the winter but haven't decided which.

i like the badboy kit very much, but the adapter doesent have the thermostat built in it.. i like the dual cool 2 and have it powdercoated black to match the bike. but i dont know how good they work. my friend can cut the ends off and run fittings if i want..
