Bel Ray V-Twin syn 10w50

I own a 2001 FLHT. 95" modified. I have used RevTech 20x50 oil from the get go. I switched to Bel Ray 10w50 100% Syn a month ago. My cyl temps have gone down. No oil cooler. Have used Bel Ray MC-1 in 2 stroke dirt Bks for years.
Wanted to see if a local dealer would order me a couple qts. for the shelf. told him what I use and he threw a chicken saying I'm gonna burn my TC up if I continue this. The Bel Ray tech said this vescosity would be fine for my TC even in Tucson(where I live).
Got any thoughts out there. got a bunch of money in my engine!

It is 94 degF(night) and I just got back from having a brew. checked my cyl head temps. 245 degF front. 267 degF rear. Best it has ever been. checked with laser temp gun base of spk plugs. They only make 10w50 in syn. they do have a 20w50 in the Bel Ray blend syn/petro.
Actually, these are really good numbers for a TC.
