Fluids Change (Killing 3 birds with one stone)

Guys/Gals,

I'd like to know if I can get away with 5 to 6K between fluids changes and do everything at once on my FLHX? The bike has 1,800 miles on it and I'm wondering if I can go synthetic next time around and just do everything at 5.5 to 6K intervals going forward.

Thanks,

ST

I think it is very easy to go 6,000 on the motor oil and 10,000 to 15,000 0n the Trans and Primary. I would personally suggest A Synthetic in all three holes. I would also use a motor oil in the motor, a gear oil in the trans and an ATF in the Primary. There is alot of disscussion on the pros and cons of fluids in a Harley. Read as much as you can and ask afew buddies and That will help you make a good decission.
