Replacement Oil Temp Sensor

Anyone know the OHM values of the H-D Oil Temp Gauge Sensor? I'm in need of a replacement and the local parts buffoons are incapable of doing a parts breakdown. Has to be something equivalent in the automotive world...

Check the gauge itself, it might say what it needs. If not, get the P/N off the gauge and call VDO, they can probably help.
