I can't imagine any way that any synthetic or dino oil that meets spec is "bad for your bike." Makes no sense.

10000 posts on dino vs synthetic. Short version if someone gives you advice that synthetic oil will hurt your bike STOP listening to them. Even hd sells a synthetic blend. You can read for day's if you just use the "search function"

I switched from dino 600 miles ago. I cant wait for the 5000 miles to be over so I can switch back.
My oil temp went up 20-25 degrees. This alone will cause me to switch back.
The tranny is quieter, so It can stay in there.

No one told you that you have to wait. Change it now if it is so horrible.
Filter is still clean, so you can limit your loss by keeping your filter.
Myself, will stay with syn.
I find that people who run oil temp gauges tend to worry too much.
If your motor is too hot, it will tell you.
Too many false readings out there on many of these oil temp gauges, and too many other variables alter the temp readings.

While I won't argue with a guy who says his bike runs hotter with syn than with dino, I don't see how that's possible.

There has to be other factors involved. It's not the syn oil.

Your motor does NOT run hotter. It gives OFF more heat when running synthetic. THATS why it FEELS hotter. But in reality, your internal temps are cooler.

Just curious. If your motor does get too hot, what will happen? I run Amsoil, so I don't have to worry about it, I hope. But I do live in Arizona...

Noisier, weaker, sometimes more detonation.
Something you just feel about it. If it happens, you'll know.
Of course, as you said - you run Amsoil so it will never happen to you.
