mobil1 15-40 syn oil

Our local small town Walmart only has Mobil 1 15-40 weight syn. oil and will not be getting in any 20-50 v-twin.Is the 15-40 Mobil 1 syn oil ok for a 20-50 replacement for the bike?Thank you much.Peace and Prayers. They do offer Pennzoil in a 20-50 syn.Would this be ok to use?

I myself would want the heavier oil in my bike.
I run the Mobil V-Twin oil in my bike and love it. Did you try getting it online?
After i switched from SYN 3 to mobile 1 it seemed to quiet the engine top end noise down a little.

You can also get Amsoil products easily and as cheaply as possible by calling George Douglas, a site sponsor.

from what I have read there isn't enough difference in the V twin oil and automotive version to even worry about. I do think I would rather have the 50 weight over the 40 though

I use the M1 15-50. And you can usually find it anywhere. Picked up a case the other day on sale 4.89 a quart...

There is no such thing as Mobil 1 15w-40.

Just contact George and he will set you up.

I agree, Mobile-1 has a new 20-50 full syn. at Wall Mart for 23.00 bucks for a five quart jug.
As far as oil breaking down from heat or any other reason isn`t any synthetic better than dino.
