purepower filters

Well i know i will get bashed but i use a purepower double mesh filter , 22micron absolute at 22 micron and not sure what on the smaller micron it was good though.

So my thinking , how can there be good flow at 5 micron through that filter if a 60psi bypass , try this cust a filter and blow through a piece of the media . from what i saw it was not easy. so how can oil be flowing through that .

i like the idea of having great flow , i also think the oil will find least path of resistance so it will find a weak spot in the media and blast through that area. or use the bypass but at 60psi ?

theese are just my thoughts i am not trying to sell anything. just talking.
another thing how big are the antiwear zinc , potassium, and whatever else is used . could the filter be cleaning that out as well?.

well so far i like the purepower filter seems to work for me.

come one and tear my thoughts up. thanks

Not trying to make a case for or against these filters, but would like to know what you are talking about concerning 60 PSI? Also additives in the oil are sub micron in size and to small to be caught by any oil filters designed for motorcycles or automotive use. Filters in the medical field would catch them, but not in your machinery. If these filters are 22 microns at absolute that is pretty good. The Amsoil ones are 15 micron absolute, but they are throw aways and not cleanable.

sorry about the confusion, the 60psi is what i read in another post about the new HD 5 micron filter. and the bypass spring is set to 60psi. sounds very high.

So far i like the filter has 2 magnets in its has a double woven stainless 22 micron absolute. the company makes oil and other filter stuff, the HD one also has the cool cover that also acts as a cooler.
