wiring issues

i recently picked up a 1981 flh aka dresser, the wires under the headlight nacelle are a disaster. they have been cut and spliced and soldered and so on. there is a circuit board of some kind screwed to the top tree with taped up and capped off wires, the blinkers have all been removed and the wires in the handlebar controls are also taped and cut. i want to rewire the whole bike and eliminate any issues, however.... wiring is not my specialty. can any one give me a very simple wiring diagram or visual of somekind, i only want the blinkers, head and taillights, no extras. thanks

Buy the MoCo service manual for your year bike, it has the whole wiring diagrams in the back of it.

i have the manual. it looks like a aerial view of a corn maze to me, i am wanting to get rid of the circuit board and any unused wires, i was told there is a 3 or 4 wire method that is the best way with a few inline fuses, i thought that i would find a guru on here to help out!

Here's a pretty simple diagram but doesn't have turn signals. I'm sure they could be added easily.
