Harley Davidson Electrical Wiring Color Code Abreviations

Friends:

Please let me know what the electrical wiring color abreviations stand for. So far I have these:

BE and BL are BLUE (true?)
BK is BLACK
RD is RED
BR is BROWN
OR is ORANGE
YL is YELLOW
WH is WHITE
GR is GREEEN
BE is BEIGE (?)

also:

BK/BN top code (BK) is primary color and bottom code (BN) is stripe color

Any more?

Don't know where you received the info in your OP. The supplied info is from my '04 Police Supplement HD service manual, civilian HD Touring Model service manual, and the several other model year HD SM's I've looked at for various wiring projects.

HD nows offers the Service Manual, parts catalog, and Electrical Diagnostic Manual for your bike in spanish if that is your first language.

Good luck with whatever you are working on.

Edit: Saw your thread about oil pressure gauge installation. The connectors aren't on the police wire harness for the oil pressure and air temp gauges. But you can insall them. Here's an earlier thread where the installation of the oil pressure gauge is explained with part nos. The oil pressure sending unit wire referenced in post three is brown/green stripe:

Ahh, it was you too in the other post!

I think after reading it that the install should be fairly simple.

I am most grateful. All I need are the connectors. Those part numbers are Harley Davidson part numbers I presume.

I did order a manual and a service manual. English is my main language, even though am Bolivian. (US schooling!)
