Passing light PN differences
I need to replace a passing light bulb and want to upgrade to Halogen. I have an H4 in the headlight and the older sealed beam passing lights are much dimmer, so it makes sense to just upgrade.
HD has P/N 68208-98A, which is a halogen replacement, but it also says it's a sealed beam. If I read some posts here correctly, some are saying that this isn't correct and the bulbs CAN be replaced. Can someone, that has actually done this, confirm that the bulbs can be replaced. And, if so, what type bulbs/PN can be used in it.
HD also has P/N 68348-05 which is designed for replacement of the bulbs. Does this kit come with a halogen bulb or would I need to replace the bulbs after I bought the kit? Also, wth does Vertical Reflector Optics means.
I'm a little confused which kit I need to get, and the advantages or disadvantages of both.
Any help in sorting this out would be great.
