Head lamp wattage/amp draw

I went and got a new headlamp and this is after I am changing the stator and was wondering if I drew too much off of the stator to cause failure?
I replaced with a Sylvania h6024 the wattage is 5 watts stronger then factory OEM so 65 on high and 55 on low--- any thoughts on this?

I been running 100/110 W headlmap and 55 watt passing, stock is 35. Not enough to make a difference. People use heated clothing, which is real big draw. If your stator failed, just its time.

your averaging about .5 amp more draw on either high or low beam which should not be enough to cause any problems .

Here is a link that will help you figure out exact draws.

Ohms_Watts law

Plug in the numbers you know i,e in your case 12 volts and 55 watts and you get the current draw.
