FLHTP Conversion : V-Twin Forum: Harley Davidson Forums

Hi all, new "kid" on the block here looking to get his first Harley. I have a line on buying an 09' FLHTP coming off of lease from a PD. Less than 1000 miles, they put new tires on and really go over them. My question is what will I be getting into putting on a stock seat, tour pak and my main concern changing over the handlebar switches to add cruise control and a radio?? Is a wire harness change going to be necessary or is it a simpler fix? Thanks for any info.
