Ever had HD battery tender go bad?

Been using the HD battery tender for about 4 years. Battery is about 1 year old stock HD.
I use the tender daily and it usually turns green in a few minutes at most.
Plugged it in today and after several hours still red. Then I unplugged from the bike end and the light changes to green with nothing connected.
Plug it back in and it switches back to red.

Looks like it's time for a new tender.

I never had a tender go bad but I believe there is a fuse on the tender's harness that connects to the battery. That fuse has blown on me which makes the tender uselss (until you replace the fuse).

Phatt117, yup mine crapped out. The fuse was fine too. Just stopped working, and was only used for 2 winters. Another typical POS from Harley Davidson. Bought a $18 Duracell one from Target and have not had any problems with it. Even came with the harness for the battery.

Update

Well, problem solved, and it turned out to be the voltage regulator.
New one installed and all is well. Tender is back to normal doing it's job.
