Question Stem Risers

Hey all, I have a 2000Heritage classic and years ago I put on some flanders bars (like the Deuce) with internallly run wires (looks sharp) and braided cables. Well, now that I am older, i want the grips a little closer to me. How much (in height can I go with risers over stock) Stock is 1". I am looking at 2.5" pullbacks and 2' straight from Drags Spec. Any problems I should look for? Height restrictions?? Wires on right of frame are plenty slack.
