Been reading about the Radio Shack siren install, went out and bought one yesterday, 6 bucks. I've seen pix of the install on other bikes, but can't find a pigtail on mine that looks like the ones in the pix. The only one I find, without removing parts or covers yet, has 4 wires and is located behind the rear cylinder sort of beside the battery. Is this the right connection or am I way off?
Look under the bike right in front of the rear fender. They used to clip the wires right there with a cover over the plug. This was on older bikes then yours but it might be there.
That's where I found the plug, but it's 4 wires, not 3 like the install thread. And I have the security system, just not the siren. Just wanting to make sure I have the right set of wires.
