Voltage ??

My sons 04 Glide Standard is running at 16 volts on the volt meter when over about 2500 RPM. None of my Harleys have ever been much over the 14 volt mark at that rev. Dealer says it is normal, but I dont think so. Bad regulator or what do you guys think?

Well first i would check with a meter. The H-D gauges suck.

Yeah, check it with a real meter. Check it at the battery, as that's the only place you really, really need to know what's going on. If it's 16V there, then don't ride the bike anymore and get a new regulator.
