Turn signal cancelled out when I apply brakes- do I need a new charging system?

I used the attached doc to troubleshoot - read below

I just did all the testing described in the attached document and it seems I may have a short in my stator (alternator). My voltages were correct. After removing regulator plug and starting bike my voltages (AC) were good >>
26 V at 1000 rpm and about 60 v at 2600 rpm. I then did the ohms test on the two contacts on the stator and it read 0.0. The attached doc says this is a short. That it will show everything is normal but it is not producing proper amperage. Have you had this problem or know of anyone who did? Am getting ready to order an Ultima HD 32 amp system for $142.99 (free shipping ) from eastern performance cycles, one of the sponsor sites on www.hdforums.com . Has anyone heard of this company?

It sounds like you already have your answer.......

I have made small purchases from Eastern Performance cycles in the past and they have been great do deal with. If they have what you want, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

You should see continuity (0.0) between the 2 stator contacts. If you see continuity (0.0ohms) between either stator contact and ground, then the stator is shorted out to ground.
If the only thing going wrong is the turn signal circuitry, I'd look at that.
