Harley ECU pinout

I am going to do a quick dis-connect MegaSquirt (MicroSquirt) install that will work on a factory Harley EFI. Does anyone know if the ECU pin out and color codes on Harley is universal?

Do all ECU's use a Packard 100w

Does anyone have the Electrical diagnostics manual for any other factory Harley other than a Sportster? At $60 each I hate to have to purchase all of them.

Hi AW.

I just received my diagnostic manual for my 07 softail. The service manual also has wiring diagrams in it that could answer your question. I will check later on to see if they are the same as for the sportser.

Just guessing, but that might be for the European bikes. They have something extra on the exhaust if my memory serves me correctly.

We are so lucky in the international world that we have been blessed with active intake and exhaust.

These units operate to control "performance" (read noise) when you are riding.

The exhaust items (1 & 20) are servo motor control and feedback signals. The servo motor shuts a flap one exhaust pipe that redirects all the gases through the other pipe ( which has a smaller dia. outlet).
The active intake solenoid (22) actually drives a solenoid that operates a flap in the intake to allow more air in at 70kph+ @ 50% throttle +.

you gotta love the marketing spin that is put on this stuff. . Enhances performance......
