I was running a little hard, but just now got 1,000 miles on it so trying to keep it under 5K rpm's until I get a few more miles on it.

Trying to keep it under 5000 rpm.
Man Please !
The rev limiter is set at 6100 rpm.
The fuel curve is like 2300 to 3300 or so rpm.
If you are winding it above those rpms you are running it hard.

and if your winding it to 5000 rpm or above you will never get any fuel milage.
Its in Race mode..

Sent you an email, but just rechecked mpg for the whole 661 mile trip this weekend. Got 35.6 mpg which for running 70 to 80 most of the trip I am very pleased with. Still think if I kept it under 75mph it would get in the high 30's mpg.

Thank you again!

Chuck

I installed Windows 8 on my old tablet ... this was a little tricky because it barely meets the minimum spec requirements...

I had to do a simple hack to the system registry display settings to allow the new Windows 8 Apps to run... other than that it has been a simple stress free install and at $40.00 absolutely the cheapest Windows System Software I have ever brought.

It is running SmartLink software ok, and connects with the bike, no real issues so far.... I will post any issues I encounter.... if any...

How is the new map doing? I am still very happy with the one you sent me. Having a little decel popping when back off sometimes...but not enough to worry about.

Still running Windows 7 on my mini laptop for Thundermax...no problems. Us it for both the Fat Bay (cable throttle) and the Ultra which is TBW.

Is there a problem with Windows 7 I don't know about?

Hey Chuck,

Greeting from down under in New Zealand mate, nah no really problems with win7 so much as my wanting to see if I could get Win8 to run on my old Win pad with graphics that are no fast enough or supported by win8....

So I upgraded for the challenge of it.... I contacted Thunder-max support and they were never issued with a shake down copy of win 8 to trial.... so they are interested in how I get on....

So unless you are a part of the xbox generation and are sharing your entire life online.... stick with win7 or vista etc till you have to upgrade your hardware....

Hey EOLO,

Nice to meet you mate.

My advice would be to contact Thunder-max support with your build details and they will make a recommendation for you.... they are really very helpful.

http://www.thunder-max.com/Support/F...onSupport.aspx

I can only see 2 maps for a 95ci build with stock heads and 2 into 1 pipes.....

Map 608 Notes:
For use on 01-05 95 CI Engine with Similar Throttle Body, Injectors, Bolt In SE203 Cams, Similar Exhaust Style

lower idle ok

03/25/2011
Lowered 0 & 256 rpm timing pages to 1 degree.

And

Map 612 Notes:
For use on 01-05 95 CI Engine with Similar Throttle Body, Injectors, Stock Cams , Similar Exhaust Style

Lower Idle OK

03/25/2011
Lowered 0 & 256 rpm timing pages to 1 degree.

Neither of these maps are a perfect match with the cams.... so again, I would contact Thunder-max Support for their recommendations.

http://www.thunder-max.com/Support/F...onSupport.aspx

There are many more knowledgeable members on this forum who will have more answers for you.

Hope this helps

JT69 wants to know Dino or Syn?
Ok guys I've been reading this thread for days now and have lurned a lot!!
Here's what I have now!
02 road king
95" big bore standered flat top pistons
S&S gear drive 510 cams
Air cleaner upgrade
The true dual kit u can use with stock headers
Slipons with 21/4" baffles
And thunder max with auto tune

To start with I just had the stoke y pipe setup with the slipons!! I was using map 607 and now with the duals I've went to map 609,,
Is this the best choice???
Before the duals ran great and sucky mpg 30 to 33
Duals great lost a little in 5 th power wise but not much..mpg don't no yet. Hope it's a little better!!!! Don't no what best match the 510 cams
Any info would be great!! Thanks

Map 792 or 812 for my build?

I'm getting ready to install the following build on my 2010 Dyna Wide Glide (currently 96") and need a recommendation for a good base map. I contacted Zippers and they seemed to think map 792 would be a good fit until I asked them about Map 812 which they then said either one should work. The maps appear to have significant differences in both Timing and AFR, so I was hoping to get some collective opinions from the group of which would be the closer base map (792, 812, other?).

The build will be as follows (I'm doing the work myself):

T-Man stage 4 Heads (2.0/1.62)
107" Bored (by T-Man) Cylinders
T-man 11:1 Pistons
T-Man 662-1 Cam (.660 lift, 45deg int close, 248 dur)
HPI 55mm Throttle Body
HPI 5.3g/s injectors
D&D Fatcat 2-1 Exhaust w/big bore baffle
30 Tooth Transmission Pulley

In looking over the maps it appears that 792 is more aggressive than 812 -- more timing advance and richer AFR. Map 792 is based on Redshift Cam TC577 (.577 lift, 47deg int close, 252 dur) and Map 812 is based on Redshift Cam TC657 (.657 lift, 45deg int close, 252 dur).

It appears that Map 792 is used for Zippers 103 "Muscle Kit" while Map 892 was developed for 113 high compression engines, but used in 103 and 110 engines.

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Dennis

Main thing you want to match up is the Cam
Forgit everything else
