Use data mode to check DTCs and to clear them. DTC codes are checked, reset, and recorded using the Data Recording forms’ ECM Diagnostic Codes window.

Checking DTC codes:
To check for codes, press the Get DTC’s button; Data Mode will interrogate the ECM for all possible codes and report back with a list of all possible codes and whether they are set or not.

Clearing DTC codes:
To clear all set DTC codes, press the Clear DTC’s button. The codes will be cleared within a few seconds. After clearing codes, you can immediately check their status using the Get DTC’s button to verify their new values
