SERT file conversion

I have an 05 heritage with the SERT. The program for running the RT will only allow *.t05 or *.t02 files to load. What do I need to do to get it to accept a *.t06 file to load into it? I tried to rename it wit a *.t05, and i get error messages when i try to load it in.

any help?

thanks,
tom

You'll need the latest software. Someone said it's about $20 at the dealer.

map conversion

I had the same problem,
and took the long way about it.
Basically i opened up a std map,
printed the MT6 file and adjusted the cells in the MT5 base map and saved it.

worked fine, but it took some time to verify the cells were all correct as far as the numbers went.

good luck

Trix

Why would you bother PRINTING a file, if you are half way computer literate all you need is COPY & PASTE?

Tom,
Which file exactly are you looking for? I have Ver. 4.5.0 and all stock MAPs are MT6. I can COPY & PASTE all the data into Excel and email it to you, which will be fine for a 1-off deal, but you really need to upgrade the operating software to match the year of your bike at least.

this is for an 05 heritage. the SERT version is 4.1.2, build date 1/11/05 ,2001-2004. the stock maps on the all mt5. I did go down to the dealer to get an update disk, but our friends at the EPA will not allow them to sell the software in california...stupid EPA. I may have to buy it from an out of state dealer, unless i can find it online. the file is C.A. LOPEZ-105EV100-001.zip. I appreciate yer help john, thanks bro.
