From what I remember w/ my talk w/ the Motor Company last week, on the tuner itself they now are ending the part # with a "Z" to denote it has the '05 software, I think. Since the dealer is installing on my '05, I maybe didn't pay as much attention to that part as I could have...
As to the CD itself, no idea. Sorry.
Dave

Dave,
I've been playing "karnak" with the Chicago Harley Davidson parts page and 32107-01C still comes up as the most current version for the whole kit. Another thread also says the CD is available. I would like to get the whole package for my 2005 FLSTF. I've asked my friendly neighborhood dealer(s) and I didn't get any useful information. One said there was no need for an update. The other gave me a lecture on why he doesn't think citizens should own race tuners. Its a jungle out there.
Appreciate the quick reply.
Ken

This dealer knows their performance stuff, and have been waiting as impatiently as I have for this. They have one of those direct computer links to H-D, so I don't know if it is on there or in CD form in their hot little hands, but they wouldn't waste my time and theirs by having me make an appointment (150 mi round trip) if it wasn't available to them in some form. My bike just left there on Thu w/o the performance stuff because H-D missed their self imposed deadline of LAST Mon. :-(
Just thought I'd let y'all know it finally was accessible, at least if you have a performance oriented dealer doing the work.
As to general availability over-the-counter, I don't know, but if not yet, it should be soon.

I know it's out as I have one in my hands from my local stealer. Has more calibrations than before and a few new features that I like. We can now store information about each table in the file. So if you changed the VE table 5% you can open the note window and type that in. When your old like me it's a good thing to type in the changes so when we go back to look at it I can remember what I did. It also now has the cut/paste function so you can move the table information out to another program like Excel to play with or to cut from one file and paste to another.

I agree, the new version is available. Like others, I have been waiting for it and my Road Glide is currently in the dealer for this and other upgrades to be installed. Just as an interesting FYI...I was told by the service manager yesterday that with the new '05 ECM change he did not think the latest version of Power Commanders would effectively work with it with out a future reliablity issue. His explanation to me was that the PC "fooled" the ECM and that in due time the ECM would eventually fail. Now I don't know if this if fact or fiction (as this dealer does not sell PCs but the dealer up the road does) but they strongly recommended their SERT as the ultimate tool to, though hard to work with, to make the best EFI related changes as it actually reprograms the ECM.
Take Care,
Mike

If anybody who has got the new version of the race tuner could say what the part number is, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks, Steve.
I called Harley this morning and that part number was confirmed. Harley also said 32107-01C as the version of the race tuner which works with the 2005 models. This has me a little confused. I thought this "C" version didn't work, although I can't find the thread which lead me to this belief. Harley stated the earlier "B" version is the one which required a new CD. Harley said the "C" version will not clear backorder until October 8.

C version
I agree, it is the "C" version versus "B" that is required for 2005. I picked up my RG this weekend and they successfully installed the SERT and I have the box/disk/cables/etc. in my hand. The Dealers typically get the downloads immedately once they are available (i.e. I don't believe they use the disk supplied in the packaging, just the interface and cables).
Take Care,
Mike

Got mine installed today.
The 01B wouldn't even work w/ the new software, they had to use the 01C, so it's a software AND hardware issue...

Are you saying that my new 01B kit will not work on my 2005 Ultra even after the new 01C disc arrives? Dealer said that the new CD was not scheduled to ship until 10-8.

That appears to be the case, just from what I heard while they were hooking mine up. I didn't really discuss it with them, but I know they were getting an error with the 01B kit w/ the 01C CD they tried first, and I wound up w/ an 01C kit.
