If you are asking whether you need to remap with the new pipes, maybe.
Depends on how similar the new pipes are to the old. Dynojet has a map to fit your new pipe/air cleaner configuration, and I'd say, use it! You don't need a new reflash if that's what your asking. With the PCIII, a dealer reflash is a waste of money.
I have the same combo on my Fatboy and Dynojet has a map for it.

These pipes are the new ones from v&h, they have the power chamber - suppose to perform like the two into one pipes. I have the FLHT pwr cmdr III, I would imagine you have the cmdr for the softail-- are the maps the same and what is your map number .Yea i know about the reflash- it did raise my redline to 6200 RPM which gives me a little more time to look at the road ahead- then down at the tach for the next shift.
