I need a Power Commander V map for S&S 585 cams

I am about to try my hand at doing some engine work on a 2010 Street Glide with a 96 on it. It already has true dual reinharts, se stage one air cleaner and program dyno tuned by harley. We are adding s&s 585 cams and the power commander V. My only dilemma so far is I can't find a map for the 96 motor with these cams. I don't know enough about the power commander to just start with a random map and go from there. I have searched and found nothing close to this setup. So what's the word guys? Does such a map already exsist or am I going to have to spring for some dyno time and make one? Thanks for any help y'all can offer me!

Man, just my luck! Nothing with the 96ci and 585 cams on the S&S site. Surely someone out there has used these cams and the Power Commander V?

You're between the proverbial rock and hard place, just as I was when I did my 95" motor with a PCIII. There were no maps available for my exact build.
I loaded a map that was as close as I could find - it was for cams with nearly the same lift and timing but the same exhaust/air.
It was a bit rich but it allowed me to break in and find a tuner that could dial it in.
Also, after having to spend what I did to dial it in I'd be a bit reluctant to just give my tune away. Just being honest.

That's exactly where I am right now! Thinking about maybe sending the PCV back and going with something else. I sure wish I had researched a little more before going with it. I totally understand about wanting to keep your tune you paid for to yourself. It has really impressed me at how many guys are willing to share their work when it comes to this. I can say that if I do keep the PC and get a nice map set up for it it will be available to whoever wants it! I don't mind being the guinea pig if I have to be but I am going to try my best not to be. I feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one that had been in this predicament.

Give our tech line a call, they may be able to create a file for you. Or we may have one that has yet to be loaded on the site. We are doing maps daily but they don't always load them on a day to day basis.

I have to say I'm very impressed with S&S coming on here and giving advice in several threads recently. I'm sure several "names" in the industry lurk to see what our conversations are but to actually respond in a helpful way without a sales pitch is very refreshing.

Well S&S customer service is great and their products are even better! I got the cams in and man what a difference. The power increase is scary! I cant believe how the cams and the power commander woke this thing up. Thanks again for all the help guys!
