TTS Knock Log

How intuitive is the TTS software for analyzing the knock record?

Once TTS is downloaded and the original ECM map is retrieved, is it simple or complex to analyze and modify the advance curve based on where it might be knocking?

How does one determine what TTS version is needed for a particular ECM?

Not sure what your asking for but in general you connect to the bike and go ride while making a DataMaster recording of the Spark Data. Once you've got your log recorded all you do is put Knock retard onto the graph and take a look at it. If the line is flat you have no retard. If you see a rise in the graph line you zoom in on that area so you can see how much retard and when it is happening. The graph allows you to quicklu locate anything and then zoom in and look at all the data right where it's happening.

Thanks Steve!

Do you go ride with the laptop onboard or does the ECM store the data and you then download to the laptop??

Just trying to get a feel for how the software works.

You collect data with your laptop. Depending on what you want to do record you select different data types - Generic, Spark data, ...
