muffler popping

Have a 06 roadking and my mufflers are popping when I decelerate, I was told I need to zero my throttle, so I zeroed the TP with the PCIII and it made the popping worse. Need help!

Hi Steve bike not popping anymore still have a slight gurgleing sound on decel.

If the gurgle bothers you, you could try adding 5 to 10 more...
just stay away from 2000 rpm and lower...

Um, I'm no expert, but have any of you guys entertained a couple of basic things that most folks (including me) usually miss? The 'popping' from before, is usually unburned fuel igniting in the exhaust,(over rich mixture, resulting in the unburnt fuel) and is aided by a small exhaust leak somewhere downstream in the system. the gurgling noise is the same thing, only you have eliminated the over rich mixture that originally caused the popping. Mayhap you got a loose clamp somewhere in the works, or a less than sealed junction in the exhaust system. Its happened to me on more than one occasion, and its why I 'nut and bolt' the exhaust on my bikes at least a couple times a year. Hope it helps.
