map request for Mr Dynajet

1998 EG. SE intake, SE stage 1 download, VH ovals. I used the map from PC for SE intake, Stage 1 and VH slip ons. ran OK but popped back on decel around 17-2000 RPM bad. Ideas ?

The first thing you need to do is make sure that the exhaust gaskets at the heads and the slip joints are sealed and tight. Any air leak is going to add to the decel popping problem. If you have any doubts, replace them.

Next, make sure that when the bike is fully warmed up that the Throttle % reads "0".
If it doesn't then you need to reset it in software.

Ok, once the above is done try this. In the 0% column from 2,000 RPM and up type in 20's. At 2% from 2,500 and up type in 10's. Send that to the unit and see if the problem is any better and let me know.

If you did what I described the idle should have not changed at all.

Did you change values in the 0% coulmn at 1,000 rpm?

How much of the popping when away at the lower RPM range?

If it is popping at 1,200 I really do suspect you have a slight exhaust leak.

One thing you can try is choose the "maximize map resolution" option under "tools". This will give you a 1,750 rpm row. Change the 0% cell at 1,750 to a 25 and then make the 0% cell at 1,500 a 10.
