Map and installation instructions..2000 SERG

I have a 2000 Screaming Eagle Road Glide.
95 CI
SE Air cleaner
Fullsac recored mufflers with 2 inch baffle

Do you have installation instructions similar to the fatboy set you sent. They were awesome. FYI I am very impressed with your prompt responses and helpful information.

I recently replaced the stock mufflers with the Fullsac and noticed a BIG difference in fuel consumption.

Should also mention...

I have a power commander II unit with the 9 pin serial cable...lap top has the 14 pin port. I've found a usb to 9 pin adapter any problem with using that?

You can downlaod the install guide at:
http://www.powercommander.com/downlo...eng802-311.pdf

USB to 9 pin serial adpaters may or maynot work. One of the reasons we made the switch to USB was because of issues with serial and USB/Serial adapters. You can try one, but if you have issues there is not much we can do to assist you with it.

As far as a map goes, the SERG was a pretty limited production unit at the time. We never had one in to do map development on. Ideally you should take it to a good tuning shop to get it mapped properly

Thank you...in the old software disc I found a map

M802-016
Limited Edition Screamin Eagle Road Glide
Khrome Werks slip ons
Screamin Eagle air cleaner

Which I'll try and let you know.
Will also see about having it tuned locally.

I'm sorry, I thought you had a PCIIIr.

Yes, try that PCII map for your setup. As far as tuning goes, it is unlikely you will find someone that has had any experience with the PCII. That unit and its technology was discontinued a very long time ago.

Should I end up buying a III which model number should I look for? I may have been under the wrong impression that the III's were not compatible with the 2000 model years.

No, we do offer a PCIIIusb for the early HD fuel injected bikes. Our part number is 802-511

Downloaded M802-016 runs much better and appears fuel mileage is back to somewhat normal. As I posted earlier I am using Fullsac with the recored 2 inch baffle. Not sure how close these are to the Khrome Werks slip ons.

With the current map what, if any, issues are you having. As I mentioned, we do not have a large library for this bike. We will have to make some adjustments based on your feedback if needed.

good for now?

No real issues...did have to make an idle screw adjustment. Seems to be running much cooler (that's good here in North Central Florida) from the stock setup. Maybe switching to a V&H pro-pipe soon and may need some help. Found a map in both the USB and PCII : 802-316 that has what appears a baseline to start with. What is your opinion.

You cannot use the PCIIIusb maps in the PCII. Unless you update the Power Commander you are going to need to do a lot of trial and error.

OK going to purchase the PCIII USB. As posted above currently have the PCII model.

Since the last post have installed the Vance and Hines ProPipe. Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner. Read that the 2000 SERG is 95" with 203 cams. 8.9:1 compression. What do you suggest as a map to begin with. Thanks...your knowledge, advice and recommendations are most appreciated.

You can try this, but you would really be better off to find a good tuner and make the most of your current setup.
