PCIII Map Request
Looking for any updated maps for the following setup:
2008 HD Touring (Road King)
PCIII
BUB 7 True Dual Exhaust
Kuryakyn Hypercharger Air Cleaner
Currently running the map for this setup from Dynojet, but curious if there have been any updates.

What issues are you having? We rarely go back and redo a setup once it is posted.
If you are having a problem please give me specific details and I can try to recommend changes

A little popping on decel, but not too bad. Engine has stalled a couple of times at idle. How would I know if I've set the low throttle position correctly? Any tips on doing this step?

I did find the map that I am using. I believe I started with M818-013. I had changed the map per a suggestion from Dynojet to relieve the decel popping. File attached of what I'm currently running.

Did you check the TP% reading?
Did you check the firmware version?
Try increasing the 10's in the 0% column to 15's

Ok, I know I haven't gotten back to this thread in some time, but I just hooked up the bike to my computer to check the numbers as I am really concerned when the bike dies 5 times while warming up. So, I hooked it up, let it idle and as soon as the higher rpms died down, it stalled. I checked the closed throttle position and it was at 3%, so I reset it. Attached is a snapshot of where I'm at. Still seems to be sputtering after it goes from high rpm idle to low rpm idle.

It is under "view" then "powercommander info"

Thanks for the reply. I have not done any updating to the unit itself, so I will run the update and see what I get. Will keep you posted.

I don't know if it matters, but it seems like the engine stall issue only happens when the air temperature dips below 50 degrees or so.

Our unit is not temp based, so it really should not matter. You could also remove the PCIII and see if the stalling continues. That would help diagnose the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. That is on my to-do list to try and figure this out. I want to remove the PCIII, reset everything, update the firmware, and reinstall.
Question: Is running the bike without the PCIII a problem? I would only do it for a short period, no long rides or anything, but probably a quick ride to get the bike warmed up.

Youa re not going to damage anything by runing the bike (or riding it) for short periods with the PC removed.

Ok, I've updated the firmware to 2.2.5 and it looks like the software is 3.2.1. I've disconnected the PCIII, reset the unit and will run the bike without it to see what happens. When I reinstall it, I will set the closed throttle position. I've read some posts that say setting the open position isn't important, what do you recommend?
See attachments for current settings.

This was some advice I just received on another forum...
I'd say put some numbers in the idle area (1000rpm?) at zero TP in place of the 5s you have there. I'd also be inclined to put a few numbers in across the row as well. You could easily test it without your laptop. Just bump up the 'Low' RPM range fuel on your PCIII a couple of notches as a trial. I'd think that as you do it as the bike idles you'll hear it clear right up.
If it does the trick you could then write those numbers into your map. Remember that when you bump the numbers up using the buttons on the PCIII you increase all the cells throughout the RPM range the same amount. You maybe only want them in the 'zero' TP. This ought to solve the crappy running at idle. Messing with the zero throttle position isn't the way to fix this IMO.
1)I believe the idle is somewhere around 1000 rpm.
2)The closed position is supposed to be at 0. You're setting it so the PCIII knows the point at which you throttle 'sits' at zero.
3)IMO, the way to set idle properly is to add enough fuel at zero TP to make the bike idle nicely. (warm) I'd think the bike will take care of things when cold after the idle is set right warmed up.
4) I'd think your bike looks to run pretty lean at your settings. Just my opinion. I'd watch for signs of overheating. What are your timing numbers?
Let me know what you think.
