Auto Tune

I have a 2009 CVO Fat Bob with Vance and Hines Double barrel exhaust. I put a PC-V on and had a dyno tune done to set it up. Bike runs great but has some pinging between 2500-3000 RPM. Can I remove some timing in that range to eliminate?

I am changing pipes today to Big Radius 2-1 . I am tired of feeding the dealer $400 every time I make a change. If I install the Auto Tune do I still need a dyno tune? Thanks

The Auto Tune is an option to doing dyno work. It won't alter the timing automatically, but it is very effecient in making fueling changes. If you are apt to frequently making changes to your bike it is a great way to go.

You can try retarding the timing in the areas you have pinging. I would actually try adding 507% more fuel in those areas first to see if that fixes it. If not, put the fuel back and try -4 degrees timing.

Post the map if you want and I will take a look at it.

Sorry, I was trying to type 5-7%, meaning start with 5% then try 7%
