PCIII map help

Mr. Dyno
I need some help tweaking my map, I am running the M818-015 map and my problem is the gas mileage on the highway with the o2 elminators. Also I have some decel popping, but the highway gas mileage is my main concern. The mileage have dropped into the very low 30's, but when riding back country roads I can get up to 53 mpg. My bike is a 08 FLHX w/ big sucker intake and d&d 2-1 fat cat.
Thanks

Ok, exactly what type of riding are you doing when the mileage is in the 30's and what type when it is in the 50's?

When riding on the highway holding a rpm around 3,000 is where the fuel mileage is in the 30's. When I ride back roads varied rpm but for the most part rpms in the 2000-2500 range is where I get around 50mpg. I have had the powercommander on for about a year, but without the o2 elinmators and the mileage was mostly around 45mpg. I installed the o2 elinmators about 3 weeks ago, overall the bike runs better and has more power, my problem is the mileage. If there is nothing I can do I guess I can just remove the elinmators on road trips.

I guess I don't understand why you did not install the O2 eliminators until just resently. To work properly you needed to install the complete kit. By leaving the O2 sensors plugged in you have skewed the closed loop trim tables. Plugging them in now will make the bike too rich. We are going to have to make some changes to the map to try and correct this.

The only thing I have to say about leaving the o2 elinmators off was me being a idoit. Thanks for your help, is this map something I need to run forever or just until the close loop map tables reset.

The O2 sensor range is not going to reset since the O2 sensors are now disconnected. Unless you have them reset at the dealer you will have to keep running a modified version of the map.
